MOTORCYCLES
I bought my first Harley-Davidson motorcycle in June 2001. I went with a 2001 Dyna Super Glide (FXD). After an accident in September 2002, and some modifications, I was left with the great looking bike shown in the first picture above. In January 2003, Synthia took possession of the 2003 Dyna Lowrider (FXDL) shown in the second picture above. We rode these for a few years before deciding to get a bike better suited for long trips. On March 3, 2006 we traded in the FXDL for a 2006 Road Glide (FLTRI). After riding the FLTRI for a couple of months I decided to sell the FXD. The Road Glide handles very well and is a lot more comfortable. Synthia and I are looking forward to the great riding weather here in Charleston, SC.
This is a picture of the first street bike I learned to ride
on. I rode 10 hours a day, 4 days a week, from 1993-1995. My duties included traffic control, accident investigations, and patrol. You wouldn't be able to tell it, but I was in the military and this was the best job in 20+ years with the Navy. My love of motorcycles started with this Kawasaki KZ1000P.
