He Cannot Fail

Although life sometimes pulls you down,

And gloom covers you like a veil,

Stand up and look into the sky,

And remember He never fails.

When life's battle knocks you over,

And you think you can't prevail,

Ask Him to hold you lovingly steady,

And remember He never fails.

If it seems you've walked the straight

And narrow path firmly to no avail,

Let Him direct your weary feet,

And remember He never fails.

At times when all hope seems lost,

And your faith can no longer prevail,

Realize that He is God,

And remember He cannot fail!
