I wish that I could reach back in time and remove all pain and suffering you had.

I wish that I could turn your disappointments into pleasures, your failures into successes and your fears into faith.

I wish that I could erase all of your sorrows and write only joy upon your soul.

I wish that I could supplant every mean, hateful or selfish person with a loving, kind, and generous one.

I wish that I could make your nightmares vanish and your dreams come true.

I wish that I could restore your time, health, innocence and trust to childlike ideals.

I wish that I could make your life nothing you dread and everything you love.

I cannot do any of these things though.

I can only wish and pray

Knowing that God can.
