Lord, You Reign

Lord, You reign supreme over all of the earth.

God without ending - God without birth.

You stand alone as the Holy One

The Father, Holy Spirit and Son.

No matter where I make my bed

In Heaven's glory or hell's dread

Your holy Presence I will always find there

Waiting to show Your infinite love and care

Time and space cannot hold You tight

Though they may try with all their might.

And Lord, what about the mere mortal man?

Beside You, the powerful cannot stand.

Man may mock, ignore, challenge and yell.

But when blows are thrown, he'll always fail.

For You hold all creation in Your hands,

Even your rebellious children of man.

One day even the ones who have cursed

Will bow their faces low toward the earth

And pay homage to the Holy One

Triune God - Father, Spirit and Son.
