Not So Long Ago

I found a love
Not so long ago.

I found happiness
And joy - when
It threatened never
To show.

I found a love
After searching both
High and low.

I've discovered a feeling
That continues to grow.

I found peace in a place
Where once there
was only despair,
I found a love -
We can all know and share.

In the presence of God-
I now see - a joy
I want everyone to share
With me.

I found a love
Not so long ago.

I found a love
Not so long ago.

I searched and
Found a happiness
When it threatened
Never to show.

I found a love
That continues
to grow,
After searching both
High and low.

I found a love
Not so long ago.

I found a love
Everyone should know.

This new found love
makes me grow.

I found happiness
After it threatened
Never to show.

I found God -
And his love
I want everyone
To know.
