I am a pen held in the Master’s hand

used to permanently document words, images and Truth.

I am not a pencil that is utilized when things are written down temporarily

so that they can be later removed.

I am not a marker that is loud and obnoxious,

demanding attention from everyone.

I am not a highlighter that keys on selected

passages, words or areas that others have documented.

I am not an eraser that wipes away what has already

been done so that nothing is left but a faint image.

I am not a piece of paper silently waiting for anyone

to convey whatever they want onto it.

I am not a pair of scissors that cut, remove and alter

                that which already is so that its form is subtly or completed changed.

 

I am not tape that is only used when someone

                wants something held together, often when it is futile.

 

I am a pen held in the Master’s hand

                used to permanently document words, images and Truth.
